Kirk A. Kreikemeier, CFP®, CFA, FSA
Kirk's journey to starting the firm is a testament to his lifelong passion for numbers and helping others. Kirk's path led him from a feedlot in Nebraska to the bustling world of finance. The area where Kirk grew up and formed his values and work ethic is the source of the firm’s name.
After earning his Business Administration degree from the University of Nebraska, Kirk embarked on a career that would see him accumulate an impressive array of credentials - CFP®, CFA, and FSA. But it wasn't just about the letters after his name. Kirk's true calling emerged when he realized he could use his financial expertise to make a real difference in individuals' lives.
You might find Kirk in some unexpected places when he's not crafting detailed financial plans or uncovering hidden opportunities for his clients. He's often spotted cycling through Waterfall Glen, hiking locally in Fullersburg Woods or the mountains of Colorado, or even making his own sausage.
Kirk's commitment to enhancing lives extends beyond his professional sphere. He is an active member of the Western Springs Business Association and a staunch supporter of local charities like Community Assisted Rides (CARS) and The Legacy Guild. His dedication to holistic well-being is evident in his passion for exercise, inspired by longevity expert Peter Attia's work on extending not just lifespan, but "healthspan."
Kirk is a family man at heart. He has been married to his lovely bride, Meg, for over 30 years. With three grown children spread across the country, he cherishes the spontaneity of being empty nesters and traveling with Meg.
At the core of Kirk's work is a simple yet powerful foundation: to give clients the information they need and demonstrate the financial impact of their decisions so they can be confident in their financial future.
